Scent Control Tips

Baking Soda
Baking soda can be used in the washer as a cheap laundry detergent to remove scent from your hunting clothes. It can also be used inside your boots to cut down on the odors.

Leaves and Twigs
Put leaves and twigs from your hunting area in your scent free bag along with your hunting clothes. This is a cheap way for you to smell like the area you are hunting.

Rubber Boots
Spray your rubber boots with your favorite cover scent. Don't believe all the hype that they won't pick up a scent, cuz they will. Tuck your pant legs inside your boots, if you don't you are defeating the purpose. Another thing to remember is do not wear your boots at the gas station.

Scent free bag
Use a scent free bag to store your hunting clothes in. Do not use just a garbage bag, it won't keep your clothes scent free.

Hunting clothes
Don't put your hunting clothes till you are ready to go hunting. Put them on just before you walk out the door, if you hunt your own property. If you hunt somewhere else, put them on after you get to your hunting location.

And good hunting!
