With the success of the tower options, the 20 ft tower base
and the stair option for 12 and 16ft towers. We have decided to
combine the options into a package deal. From now on, the customer
will have the option to purchase either package depending on the needs.
The new packages are simple. The tower package is with all three
tower base heights, 12, 16, and 20ft tower base. The stair package includes
the stair option for the 12 and 16ft towers. Keep in mind, the blind is not pictured
in the illustration but is included. For those that have been here
before, the only thing changed is that the options have been combined with
with blind designs for a better value.
Another change is the design archives. We have placed all the
cabin designs along with other designs that have not done well in archives. Instead of
just deleting the designs and doing away with them. It was decided to leave
them in place. The designs that are in archives will no longer be updated.
We will still offer support for any design in the archives, that hasn't changed.
The price for those designs will stay as they were before being moved.

With the deer hunting season under way in parts of the country, I thought it to be
would a good time to bring back the recipes. I have updated all the recipes and have
placed them in their own directory. For those that have had them bookmarked, please
update your bookmark to the new location.
Also good luck to all deer hunters and hunt safe.

With the deer hunting season around the corner, I thought it to be would a
good time to add more tower designs. I have expanded the Next Generation(G2)
lineup. The new designs are the 4x6ft G2 Tower, 4x7ft G2 Tower, 5x6ft G2 Tower,
5x8ft G2 Tower and 6x7ft G2 Tower. The new towers also have the same options
available that the G2 series have, 20ft Tower Base and the stair option. With the
new additions, we now offer thirty-eight different hunting stand designs.
We have also have decided to discontinue the Recipe section. We have given
this much consideration and we felt that we didn't have the time to properly keep
it up any longer. With doing away with the recipes, we feel that the time it
would take to keep up to date can be spent on writing more articles, creating
other tower blind designs and cabin designs.

I have finally finished updating the Outpost Tower, which is now the Outpost 2
Tower. The roof and posts were redesigned, along with creating the option to
fully enclose the blind. The new sizes are a 4x6ft and a 5x7ft. Much thought was
put into the update for crossbow use while keeping that open feeling.
I have also noticed that AOL users are not getting our emails. This has been
an on going problem and not easy to find a suitable solution. The FAQ page has
answers for those that are having trouble with the downloads or emails. Otherwise
contact me and I will work it out.

It has been a long winter and we have been busy updating certain designs. One
update was to the Platform Series. All Platforms have the 20ft Tower option added
in. So now you have the choice between 12ft, 16ft or 20ft tower heights. another
update was to the Options available. We took the guess work out of which 20ft
Tower went with what and put the right option with the the tower blinds that have
options. The Stair Option was also updated with optional railing.
We have also added a new series, the Ultra Deluxe Towers. Basically the deluxe
with stairs added and some improvements. The 4x6ft, (new)5x6ft and 5x7ft Ultra
Deluxe.
There has been some changes to the Cabins. Now all cabins have electrical as a
standard drawing. Also the Two Room Cabins were given a half bath.

With the hunting season starting to wind down and Christmas around the corner
it was time to work on some new designs and update a couple of old designs.
One new design is the Two Person Ladder Stand. I built one and had limited
succuss hunting out of it this year. Not sure it was becuase my boys couldn't sit
still long enough or a bad location. Either way I can detest that it is a solid
platform to hunt from.
I have also brought back the Geometric line, minus the Pentagon. The Hexagon
and Octagon Tower Blinds have been updated to the new format that is common with
all our designs. In keeping with what I started from the G2 line, I have added
more notes and different windows ideas. These blinds offer almost 360 degree
views and can accommodate two hunters. Pete Gamet, Greenleaf Designs

I have just finished work on a new look. I am also getting used to it. For
anyone that has visited Greenleaf Designs in the past will notice the change. For
it is a far cry from the way it looked for the last two years. Even though I
really loved how the old style looked, I knew it was time for a change. With the
renovations out of the way, I have time to sit down and concentrate on new
designs.
Spring Turkey season is upon us once again and it won't be long before the
deer hunters start thinking of the upcoming deer season. While the blinds are not
strictly just for deer hunters, a few bear, turkey and predator hunters have
purchased our designs as well. I even helped build one for a neightbor for his
kids to play on. The only limits that these designs can be used for are the ones
that you haven't thought of yet. So for all that are out hunting this spring,
good luck and happy hunting. Pete Gamet, Greenleaf Designs

I have upgraded the software that I use for file delivery. From now on all
files are available for instant download. With the exception of check payments,
those that purchase with a check will have to wait till it clears. That usually
takes 4 or 5 business days for it to be processed. Otherwise you should be
redirected back the the download page once payment has cleared.
Customers will still receive emails from PayPal for your receipt and from
Greenleaf Designs with download links. This is just a backup precaution. I also
realize that with the use of spam blocking software that some do not receive an
email from Greenleaf Designs. This is beyond our control and it is why we have
decided to update the software, just for that reason.
At the same time, there were some changes to the site and some new additions.
Recently I started the Next Generation Tower Blinds or for short. So far I have completed three tower
blinds in the series, 4x8, 5x7 and 6x8. As time permits, I will be working on
creating others in the near future.
Also if you don't find something that suits your needs, I can and will create
a custom tower blind if asked for a small fee of $24.95. The contact email is
admin@greenleaf-designs.com or use the contact form with custom design as the
subject.

I finally found the time to complete my yearly update. I not only updated the
site but have added some new pages as well. I added a page just for past
announcements, I felt that it was important to keep the old
announcements around so I wasn't repeating myself over and over. I have also
added a couple more articles about our products and added one for window
ideas.
I have also made some changes to the tower blind designs, I added a materials
list that you can print and take to the lumber yard. Last fall, I added the 20ft
tower base option and now I have finished a stair option for the 12 and 16ft
towers. All the options can be found on one page along with notes on what blind
they are for.
Also I have heard that some are still not getting the email from Greenleaf
Designs with the download instructions. From what I can figure, it is caused by
the use of spam filters blocking the email from getting through. One solution is
to add admin@greenleaf-designs.com to your address book or for AOL, Hotmail and
Yahoo users, please check your Bulk/Spam folder for the email from us. if you
still have no email from us with the download instructions, contact us and let us
know that you didn't receive the email and I will send it out under my personal
email address. Please remember that the downloads are only available for 48 hours
after you receive the instructions on how to download the designs. Pete Gamet,

It has come to my attention that some customers are having trouble receiving
the files they purchased. When you place an order with us, one should receive two
emails within a couple minutes of placing the order. One is your receipt from
PayPal and the other is from Greenleaf Designs with your user name, password and
download instructions. The download link for the file or files expires two days
after the order is confirmed. So you should have the files that were purchased
within 20 minutes or less from the time you placed the ordered.
If you run into problems while trying to download the file, reply with the
email that was sent to you from Greenleaf Designs with all your information. That
way I can test the link myself to see what the problem is and I can correct it.
Also do not wait two or three days to contact me if you have problems. I am
usually online after 8pm Eastern Time and I do check my email on a regular
basis.
Also all files are digital and are downloadable. They are in a PDF format and
zipped. You will need Adobe Reader or a pdf reader and WinZip to open the files.
A link to Adobe is in FAQ page. I have found an alternative to Adobe Reader that
is a smaller download and will open the design files. It is free to download and
use. You can download it from this site.
For AOL and Hotmail users, please check your Bulk/Spam folder for the email
from us. Pete Gamet, Greenleaf Designs
